This year, the question should not be, "What's New With Krinkles!" It should be, "What's Not New With Krinkles!"

Everything from the distributor, to the packaging, and quality of the products, is new and in this case, "new" also means "improved". The only thing that has stayed the same, is the artist herself. Patience is as creative and detailed oriented as every!

Patience is no longer with Department 56. Starting in 2010, she has taken on responsibility for the production of her line and she is a stickler for details. The improvements started to become very obvious to our buyers when the catalog arrived complete, error free and in a timely fashion. To you, the collector, this may not seem like a big deal, but to our buyers it sets the tone as to how the company will handle itself. They are looking at the details that make for a successful company. This pays off for you, the collector, when down the road your items arrive on time, well packaged, damage free and with the meticulous detail that Patience intended for her line.

Even the quality of the pieces has improved dramatically. When we viewed the new pieces at market this year, each item just seemed to "pop" off the shelf. The colors are more intense, the gold's are more brilliant, the halos were all even. If this is the type of detail you are looking for, you will not be disappointed. In addition to the improved quality, each new item will be embossed with a tiny stamp of authenticity the includes the year it was created. The packaging will be a soft flesh tone, with a picture of each item along with a hang tag, so you won't damage your adorable pieces of art with a sticky tag.
